The data published in this dataset expands on previously published data that characterized poly(δ-valerolactone-co-allyl-δ-valerolactone) microparticles (PVL-co-PAVL MPs) loaded with paclitaxel (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.xphs.2021.03.009). Here the physico-chemical properties of PVL-co-PAVL MPs loaded with corticosteroids, including drug loading and release of triamcinolone acetonide and triamcinolone hexacetonide, were characterized.
