Description

Raw broadband impedance spectra of aluminium electrolytic capacitors (AECs) measured using a HIOKI IM3536 LCR meter in four-terminal Kelvin configuration. The dataset contains 30 CSV files, each representing one frequency sweep of a single capacitor specimen at a fixed DC bias voltage. Three consecutive sweeps (SW1: 4 Hz–10 kHz; SW2: 10–200 kHz; SW3: 200 kHz–8 MHz) are concatenated to form one complete 10,703-point broadband spectrum. Each file records impedance magnitude |Z|, series resistance RS (ESR), series capacitance CS, and dissipation factor D as a function of frequency. Six capacitor groups were characterised: three rated capacitances (470 µF, 1000 µF, 2200 µF) crossed with two commercial electrode materials (Mat A: lower-ESR series; Mat B: standard series). DC bias characterisation was conducted on Mat A specimens at 1 V, 3.3 V, and 5 V. Multi-specimen validation (N = 2) was performed for the 470 µF and 2200 µF groups. A 7-day reproducibility pair is included for the 2200 µF Mat A group. Measurement conditions: 100 mV RMS AC signal, SLOW2 integration, 22 ± 2 °C ambient.
