Data and code supporting the manuscript “Global wind energy expansion creates pervasive risk to avian habitats.” global_wind_turbine_points_2024.zip: unchanged harmonized point layer containing 390,803 onshore and offshore turbines worldwide through 2024. bird_richness_products_R1.zip: revised global 1-km habitat, migration-passage and conservation-priority richness GeoTIFFs; species inventory; latitude-profile data; and analysis code. spatial_matching_R1.zip: turbine-occupied cell data, 50/100/200-km spatially matched background results, fixed run configuration and complete matching code. species_overlap_R1.zip: species-level turbine-overlap data and analysis code underlying Figure 3. iba_overlap_R1.zip: IBA site-level and buffer-distance results and spatial-analysis code underlying Figure 4. geodetector_onshore_R1.zip and geodetector_offshore_R1.zip: domain-specific response rasters, factor and interaction results, run configurations and analysis code underlying Figure 5 and Figure S2. conservation_first_planning_R1.zip: main conservation-first candidate and ranked-cell data, Zone 1 and national cumulative-demand GeoTIFFs, Figure 6 and Table 1 numerical data, reconstruction README and analysis code. conservation_priority_sensitivity_R1.zip: conservation-priority sensitivity rasters, ranked-cell data, Figure S1 and Table S3 numerical data and analysis code. Each R1 ZIP contains a FILE_MANIFEST.csv with file sizes and SHA-256 checksums. Third-party source datasets, plotting scripts and intermediate processing files are not redistributed.
