MATERIAL AND METHODS: The present study was conducted in the Department of Pathology, JNMCH, Aligarh (U.P) from July 2014 to July 2016. A total of two hundred fifteen (215) patients suffering from premalignant and malignant lesions of cervix were evaluated by H&E–stained tissue sections. Immunohistochemistry was performed using the standard avidin biotin complex (ABC)-peroxidase method and 3,3′-diaminobenzidine (DAB) as chromogen. CD34 antigen was detected by means of a monoclonal antibody (QBEND10, Dako, Hamburg, Germany, dilution 1:50) after microwave pretreatment.
