16s rRNA from GCF and SP microbiota of AD patients and cognitively normal controls

Description

A comprehensive dataset profiling the gingival crevicular fluid (GCF) and subgingival plaque (SP) microbiota of 19 AD patients and 21 cognitively normal controls with periodontitis using 16S rRNA sequencing. This dataset was generated to support the comparative metagenomic analysis of oral microbiota in AD patients. It enables comprehensive microbial profiling, including Alpha and Beta diversity indices, taxonomy distribution, and composition comparisons between AD patients and controls. The Mendeley Data repository contains both raw and processed datasets generated from the 16S rRNA sequencing analysis.
