Replication package for: "JUE Insight: Technological Innovation in Mortgage Underwriting and the Growth in Credit: 1985–2015"

Description

This package allows the replication of exhibits using American Housing Survey (AHS) data in the Journal of Urban Economics paper "JUE Insight: Technological Innovation in Mortgage Underwriting and the Growth in Credit: 1985–2015."  The package also includes the computer code and non-confidential data for exhibits that use confidential data collected pursuant to the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA). However, the package does not contain any confidential HMDA data, which are maintained by the Federal Reserve System. If you are Federal Reserve employee and would like to replicate exhibits using confidential HMDA data, please contact your local data librarian.
