Description
This dataset supports the findings of the manuscript “The Effectiveness and Challenges of Using Blooket to Enhance Fourth Graders’ Reading Comprehension at an International Primary School in Ho Chi Minh City.” The dataset package includes: (1) an Excel file containing raw reading scores from pre- and post-tests of students in both control and experimental groups, and (2) an SPSS file containing the same test scores structured for statistical analysis.

Steps to reproduce
The dataset was collected as part of a quasi-experimental study examining the effectiveness of Blooket on reading comprehension among fourth-grade students at an international primary school in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The study involved two groups: an experimental group and a control group, each consisting of 17 students. Reading comprehension was assessed using pre-tests and post-tests administered to both groups. The intervention lasted for 10 weeks, during which the experimental group participated in reading lessons enhanced with Blooket-based gamified activities, while the control group received traditional instruction without Blooket integration. The dataset includes raw reading scores from both pre- and post-tests in Excel and SPSS formats. SPSS software was used for organizing and analyzing the data. All assessments were conducted in English and aligned with the school's reading curriculum. No special instruments or reagents were used.
