This dataset supports crack segmentation research in X-ray radiography for additive manufacturing, all details are provided in the associated thesis (Imaging and image enhancement of additive manufacturing defects) and a published manuscript (https://www.ndt.net/?id=31382). Contents: 1. 44 unprocessed X-ray projections of LPBF-manufactured Ti6Al4V and NiTi samples. 2. Corresponding segmented projections (ground truth). 3. Trained segmentation models. Files can be opened using the free software Dragonfly 3D World (Comet).
