Steps to reproduce

The bibliometric review followed the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines proposed by Moher et al. (2009) to ensure a systematic and transparent research process. The literature search was conducted using the Scopus database, applying a refined search query within the TITLE-ABS-KEY field to identify studies related to augmented reality in informal education contexts. The study scope was defined through search fields, time span, and document selection criteria to exclude irrelevant publications. The PRISMA framework provided a structured approach for identification, screening, and reporting, ensuring a comprehensive, replicable, and unbiased dataset for bibliometric analysis.
