This data set explores attitudes of 18 UK brides towards new and second-hand (pre-loved) wedding dresses. It uses the Zaltman Metaphor Elicitation Technique (ZMET) to access deep, personal thoughts on the topic. The data was collected in online interviews via Microsoft Teams. The anonymised transcripts are available here. In line with the ZMET method, the participants were asked to select and send 6 images a week in advance that reflected their thoughts on the topic. The images selected (anonymised) have been included here also.
