This file contains a dataset collected using the CCFNI-ED (Critical Care Family Needs Inventory – Emergency Department) instrument. The instrument items were assessed using a 4-point Likert scale, where: 1 = Not Important 2 = Slightly Important 3 = Important 4 = Very Important The Likert scale is used to measure respondents’ perceived level of importance regarding various needs of family members in the emergency department context. A higher score indicates a stronger perception of importance toward a particular need. This scaling method allows researchers to quantify subjective opinions and facilitate statistical analysis of family members' priorities.
