This dataset provides X-ray computed tomography (CT) images of fractured basalt cores acquired during the injection of supersaturated solution with respect to calctie. In this experiment, we employed two distinct flow rates (1 mL/min; Run1_LF and 5 mL/min; Run2_HF) to elucidate the effect of flow rate on porosity changes, fracture-matrix interaction, and precipitation pattern. This image set includes the baseline scans and post-precipitation images captured at different injection times during the 5 mL/min test. Run2_HF images have voxel size of 52.0 microns and voxel depth of 43.9 microns. Images of a high flow rate (1 mL/min; Run1_LF) can be found in a dataset with the name 'Calcite precipitation in fractured basalt: Case 1 (Run1_LF)'
