This replication package contains the code and synthetic data necessary to reproduce the empirical analyses in “Cashless Payment and Financial Inclusion.” Due to data privacy agreements with our data provider, the original administrative data cannot be shared. Instead, we provide: 1. Complete analysis code that replicates all tables and figures 2. Synthetic (pseudo) data that allows the code to run and demonstrates its functionality 3. Data generation script showing how the synthetic data was created Important: Results from the synthetic data will differ from the published paper, which uses proprietary administrative data from Alipay.
