Description

A 300-gene dataset and tree inferences aimed at exploring the phylogenetic relationships of the fungal phyla and revising the higher-level classification of the kingdom Fungi. The phylogeny reconstructions were performed using Maximum likelihood and Bayesian methods implemented in the IQ-TREE and PhyloBayes programs, and employed the site-heterogeneous models of sequence evolution. The results are detailed in the “Classes and phyla of the kingdom Fungi” by Wijayawardene et al.
