Description

This dataset on the scientometrics on asset management of offshore infrastructures for 2000-2025 is presented. It shows supplementary Data that includes keywords, word clouds and retrieved data from Dimensions, SCOPUS and Web of Science databases. This dataset was used for the paper by applying Bibliometric science, which is based on scientometric analysis. VOS viewer was used for establishing research patterns, visualising maps and identifying transcendental issues on asset management of offshore infrastructures. The data shows developments on the oil and gas industry, and application of asset management with themes studied from the keywords. The dataset included on asset management of offshore infrastructures were subjected to a bibliometric study which looked at various parameters such as publication authorship, co-authorships, citation analysis as well publication's geographical location by institution to access the research trend. The data was retrieved from Dimensions, Scopus as well as Web of Science (WoS) databases mid-2025. VoSViewer and Voyant tools were used to visualise the data including the author keywords word from the data was used to generate word clouds from the keywords. Also, MS Excel was utilised to produce tables and charts from the extracted data.
