HYPERTOUCH: fNIRS hyperscanning during affective communication through touch
Description
Hypertouch.lay is a layout file with channel coordinates. Channels 1:24 form the toucher's probe, channels 25:48 refer to the touched. Hypertouch.mat is a structure containing the following variables: H_all: INS data for each pair (channel by channel) Empathy: 58x2 matrix. Column 1 is cognitive empathy, column 2 is affective empathy. Each row is a pair of participants. Rows 1:29 are round 1, 30:58 are round 2. all_sad_HbO, all_sad_Hbb, all_joy_HbO, all_joy_Hbb, all_fear_HbO, all_fear_Hbb contain HFR data for each pair. Column 1:29 are round 2, 30:58 are round 2. Channel 1:24 are the toucher's, 25:48 the touched's. Psycho_toucher: 58x3 matrix. Rows 1:29 are the touchers in the first round (touched in the second round). Rows 30:58 are the touched in the first round (touchers in the second round). Videos: 29x5 matrix. Each row is a pair. Column 1: balanced turn-taking; Column 2: depth of engagement; Column 3: non-verbal communication; Column 4: active listening. Column 5: sum of ratings. Interoceptive awareness: 27x2 matrix. Each row is a pair (starting from pair 3 of the other variables). Column 1: toucher in first round. Column 2: touched in first round. Accuracy: 58 x 9 matrix. Correspondence between trial instructed emotion and reported emotion. Rows 1:29 refer to round 1, rows 30:58 refer to round 2. Columns 1:3 refer to sad trials, 4:6 to fearful trials, 7:9 to joyful trials. For each group of 3 columns, the first is the accuracy with which the toucher "aligns" to the trial instruction, column 2 the accuracy with which the touched attributes the trial-intended emotion and comun 3 is the accuracy with which the touched "feels" the emotion intended by trial instructions.
