Description

A systematic review was conducted to evaluate 20,613 reports for evidence regarding the efficacy of various treatments for abnormal uterine bleeding in patients with chronic kidney disease. The review yielded two eligible studies to be included for data analysis, and study characteristics and outcomes of interest are included within this data set. Both are retrospective quantitative cohort studies and together represent 120 participants. They each investigate different techniques in endometrial ablation, though they also differ in included study populations and definitions for treatment success, therefore limiting statistical comparison of the data. A link to the systematic review protocol, including questions used for data extraction and instructions for each question, is attached to this submission. Also attached are risk of bias assessments and quality assessment forms evaluating the included studies.
