Bibliometric Dataset for Nursing Health Education Research in CNKI and Web of Science (2004–2023)

Description

This dataset contains the bibliometric data and supplementary analytical materials supporting the study “Mapping Knowledge Structures in Nursing Health Education for Evidence-Informed Curriculum Development: A Bibliometric Analysis of Chinese and International Literature.” The dataset includes: * Raw bibliometric records retrieved from the China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) and Web of Science Core Collection databases (2004–2023) * CiteSpace project and analytical files * Keyword co-occurrence, clustering, centrality, and burst analysis outputs * Original Chinese-language CNKI knowledge maps and English-translated figure versions used in the manuscript The data were used to examine the knowledge structure, thematic evolution, and emerging trends in Nursing Health Education research from a curriculum development perspective.

Steps to reproduce

Bibliometric records were retrieved from the China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) and Web of Science Core Collection databases for publications between 2004 and 2023 using the topic terms (“health education” AND nursing) OR (“health promotion” AND nursing). Chinese search terms were used in CNKI and English search terms were used in the Web of Science database. After duplicate removal, the bibliometric datasets were analysed using CiteSpace 6.1.R6. The main analytical procedures included keyword co-occurrence analysis, clustering analysis, centrality analysis, and burst detection. The primary parameter settings included g-index (k=5), LRF=3.0, L/N=10, LBY=5, and e=1.0. The repository includes the raw bibliometric records, CiteSpace analytical files, supplementary analytical materials, and original and translated knowledge maps used in the study.
