Supporting files for this study are hosted in the Mendeley Data repository, including the ESP32 source code and NMEA 0183 vessel datasets in CSV format. The provided code implements hardware-accelerated AES-256 in CBC mode for securing maritime IoT transmissions. While the current implementation focuses on CBC for its balance of efficiency and energy consumption, the project utilizes the mbedTLS library, allowing for the straightforward integration of ECB and GCM modes as discussed in the associated research.
