Community-Based Ecotourism and Sustainable Livelihoods in India: A Systematic Literature Review (2002–2025)

Description

This manuscript presents the first PRISMA 2020-compliant systematic synthesis of the empirical literature on community-based ecotourism (CBET) and its relationship with sustainable livelihoods in India. Drawing on two major academic databases, Dimensions.ai and Scopus, using three structured search strings, we screened 1,235 initial records through a rigorous four-stage process, yielding a final corpus of 105 peer-reviewed studies published between 2002 and 2025.
