Dataset for a reusable AI-governance method for institutional AI-use policy development

Description

This dataset supports the Higher Education Artificial Intelligence Policy Development Method (HE-AIPD), a reusable AI-governance method for translating institutional AI-use scenarios into policy decisions, risk safeguards, policy clauses, role responsibilities, implementation tools and review cycles. The package includes anonymised expert walkthrough data, tidy CVI data, CVI results, a revision log, a worked example, reusable policy-package materials and traceability link tables.

Steps to reproduce

1. Open “HE-AIPD Raw Responses and Tidy CVI.xlsx”. 2. Use the “Ratings_Tidy_CVI” sheet. 3. Recode ratings of 3 or 4 as positive ratings. 4. Calculate I-CVI for each component × criterion item. 5. Calculate S-CVI/Ave across all 60 rated items. 6. Compare the results with “HE-AIPD CVI Results and Revision Log.xlsx”. 7. Use the worked example, policy package and traceability link tables to inspect the HE-AIPD outputs.
