Studying household energy consumption: 19 essential spatial data
Description
Household energy consumption (HEC) can be studied through five types of data: (1) energy demand, (2) socioeconomic properties, (3) building characteristics, (4) meteorological measurements, and (5) land cover. This database includes 19 spatial determinants of the five types of Dutch residential neighbourhoods (Wijk) in 2018.

Steps to reproduce
The raw data are retrieved from three Dutch sources (CBS, 3d BAG and KNMI), an EU source (Copernicus), and NASA satellite imagery. Raw data were retrieved from open national and international datasets and analysed by ArcGIS Pro. For details, see: Mashhoodi, B. and Bouman, T., 2023.
