Description

The study assessed self-diagnosis and self-medication with antimalarial drugs among 470 participants, revealing that 71.49% lacked parasite antigens. Self-medication was most common in the 31-40 age group and among those with tertiary education. Women and individuals over 60 had the highest accuracy in self-diagnosis.
