Zinc isotope fractionation during coprecipitation with amorphous iron (hydr)oxides
Description
The dataset shows the result of Zn isotope fractionation and spectroscopy of a Zn2+ - Fe3+ coprecipitation experiment at ambient temperature. Summary of Zn isotope fractionation during adsorption or coprecipitation with typical Fe-oxide minerals are shown in Table 1. Chemical and Zn isotope result of Zn-Fe coprecipitation experiments and adsorption experiments are shown in Table 2. Shell by shell fitting results of the EXAFS spectrum of adsorption and coprecipitation samples are shown in Table 3. DFT-calculated structure parameters of Zn substituted ferrihydrite are shown in Table 4. Extracted Fe and Zn by different amount of 1M ammonium acetate at pH 5.0 are show in Table S1. Zn isotope composition for NOD-A-1 reported in previous studied and this study are shown in Table S2. Summary of Mössbauer parameters estimated for samples are shown in Table S3.
