Description

This rapid review aims to explore medical students' views of reflection as an actively assessed part of the medical school curriculum and whether it affects the genuineness of their reflective assignments. Data was gathered by searching online databases (Ovid MEDLINE, CINAHL, Scopus, Eric, Cochrane Library, Best Evidence Medical Education) and reviewed against the inclusion criteria. The Critical Appraisal Skills Programme (CASP) tool for appraisal of qualitative studies was used to assess the included primary studies, while the JBI Critical Appraisal Checklist for Text and Opinion Pieces was used to assess the opinion pieces.
