The data was collected from 400 women of Kalaburagi (Age: 18 to 55) as a part of ICSSR funded doctoral research work. The objective of data collection was a. to measure financial literacy of women using OECD method b. Life-cycle financial needs of women c.Enablers & Constraints in banking products usage.

Steps to reproduce

The first draft of questionnaire was revised after the pilot study conducted on 60 participants the following changes where incorporated in the questionnaire a. Some of the questions given in OECD questionnaire for measureing Financial literacy where dropped considering the population of the selected area of the study. b.Originally it was planned to cover women upto the age of 60 in the research, but after the pilot study it was observed that post 55 most of the women preferred not to participate in the survey stating that they find no point in thinking about it at such a later stage in life.
