Description

Description of the Data: The dataset contains the full list of studies reviewed in the systematic literature review, including metadata such as publication year, country of study, methodological approaches. How to Interpret and Use the Data: Users can use the data to support policy formulation or academic inquiry into equitable circular economy (CE) implementation, especially in contexts where environmental justice is a pressing concern. Conduct meta-analyses or comparative studies on CE strategies and their multidimensional impacts in the cement or broader construction materials sector. Key files include: Bibliometrix.xlsx – a structured Excel file presenting coded variables from each selected publication.

How the Data Was Gathered: the authors used Scopus database as the source for the bibliometric data. The bibliometrix library and biblioshiny application are R- tools used for comprehensive scientific analysis of articles generated from research databases (Aria & Cuccurullo, 2017). The first inclusion criterion was relevance of the studies. Research had to be conducted on circular economy in the cement sectors. Studies on computers, space agencies, and railroads are examples of unrelated research fields that were excluded. To facilitate this, the search keywords and Booleans operators used were "Circular economy" AND ("cement" OR "concrete”) AND (“environment" OR "environmental" OR "socio-economic impact" OR "justice" OR "Just" OR "local" OR "communities" OR "sustainable development goals" OR "SDG”) AND (“Health hazard" OR "Risk" OR "employment" OR "pollution" OR "respiratory”). The second inclusion criterion was the stage of publication of the documents. They had to be in the final stage of publication. For the exclusion criteria, the authors applied these filters: year of publication and language. The study excluded documents published before the year 2000 to preserve the applicability to current business practices. Publications not in the English language were also excluded. Finally, 197 documents were selected and downloaded for bibliometrix analysis.
