Database of concrete incorporating primary textile sludge and secondary textile sludges
Description
This dataset contains comprehensive experimental data related to the reuse of primary textile sludge (PTS) and secondary textile sludge (STS) as partial sand replacement in concrete. The study investigates the feasibility of replacing natural sand with textile sludge at volumetric substitution rates of 25% and 50% in five concrete mixes. The dataset enables the experimental results and the evaluation of the physical, mechanical, chemical and environmental performance of the developed concrete mixtures. The data are provided as a single Excel file (.xlsx) organized into the following tabs: 1.Chemical composition of primary textile sludge (PTS) and secondary textile sludge (STS). 2.Heavy metal concentrations of PTS and STS. 3.Water absorption kinetics and absolute density of primary (PTS) and secondary (STS) textile sludges. 4.Particle size distributions and granulometric characteristics, including sieve and sedimentation tests. 5.Mix composition of the five concrete mixtures with 25% and 50% sand replacement by textile sludges (PTS and STS). 6. Fresh and dry density evolution of the five concrete mixes 7.the mechanical performance of the concrete mixtures, including tensile strength, compressive strength, and their normalized values, measured at curing ages of 7, 14, and 28 days. 8.Chemical composition and atomic ratios of the main chemical components of the five concrete mixes. 9.Heavy metal concentrations in the concrete mixes.
