Description

This dataset contains the parametric models, CFD simulation files, and processed numerical results used in the study "Performance Analysis of Conical Geometries for Enhancing Thermal Comfort and Natural Ventilation in Built Environments." It includes the Rhinoceros/Grasshopper parametric definitions used to generate 44 conical geometries derived from PET bottle morphology, the Eddy3D/OpenFOAM (pimpleFoam, RANS k-ω SST) simulation setup files, and the processed velocity and temperature datasets obtained across the three experimental scales: isolated component analysis, 3 m × 3 m façade panel assemblies, and coupled thermofluidodynamic simulation in 3 m × 3 m × 3 m cross-ventilated test environments. Boundary conditions follow a logarithmic atmospheric wind profile referenced to São Paulo's climatic context (Bioclimatic Zone 3, ABNT NBR 15220-3), with a reference wind speed of 1 m/s. The dataset is intended to support reproducibility of the reported aerodynamic and thermal performance results and to enable reuse in future studies on passive cooling and natural ventilation strategies for low-income housing in hot, low-wind urban climates.
