Peer-led speed dating to reinforce pharmacology knowledge in undergraduate nursing education: a quasi-experimental pretest–posttest study
Description
This dataset contains anonymised data from a quasi-experimental pretest–posttest educational intervention evaluating a peer-led Speed Dating strategy to reinforce pharmacology knowledge in undergraduate health sciences education. The intervention focused on antineoplastic drugs and was implemented in pharmacology teaching sessions with undergraduate nursing and medical students. The dataset includes the variables required to reproduce the main analyses reported in the manuscript, including degree programme, pretest score, posttest score, change score, and responses to the post-activity perception survey. The survey assessed students’ perceptions of deep learning, collaborative learning, feedback, creativity and critical thinking, enjoyment, knowledge retention, knowledge application, appropriate use of artificial intelligence, preparation time, and willingness to repeat the activity in future academic years. Direct identifiers and potentially identifying information, including names, institutional email addresses, timestamps, and free-text responses containing personal information, were removed before deposition. The dataset is accompanied by a data dictionary, the survey items, and reporting checklists used for the manuscript.
