This data-sheet contains the values for following variables- organic carbon concentration (Corg), 𝛿13Corg (carbon isotope values of soil organic carbon), 𝛿13CSC (carbon isotope values of soil carbonate), 𝛿18OSC (oxygen isotope value of soil carbonates), Alox (aluminum oxide), Feox (iron oxide) and FSF (Fine sediment fraction) and clay percentage with additional information regarding the sample names and the depth (meters) of corresponding samples. Each of the five sheets of the excel file contains the data for the corresponding sample sites (Chambal, BTY, BTY-D, Sahibganj and IISERK) used in this study. The Random Forest Regression code contains the model code with the parameters for the BTYD site as an example.
