Description

This dataset contains experimental crack growth data obtained from fatigue tests conducted on middle tension (M(T)) and a stiffened box girder specimen at the Bert Cooper Engineering Laboratory of Oklahoma State University. This dataset provides valuable insight into the crack growth behavior under variable amplitude loading and serves as a valuable resource for validating analytical/numerical models and developing predictive methodologies for fatigue life assessment. Automated vision-based fatigue crack growth monitoring based on background subtraction, SN Computer Science, 4, 670 The M(T) specimens were tested under constant amplitude loading (CAL) and variable amplitude loading (VAL), while the stiffened box girder investigated the crack growth under variable loading patterns. The files are divided into two separate folders: - Middle tension specimens - Stiffened box girder specimen A readme file is included in each folder to describe the data in more detail.
