Supplemental Figure 1. Proposed diagnostic algorithm for differentiating MFPP from PPE based on dermoscopic findings. Brown-orange or gray globules favor PPE. In their absence, serocrusts, hemorrhage, brown-orange dots, or gray dots favor PPE if orange patchy homogeneous areas are absent. Orange patchy homogeneous areas without eczema-associated features suggest MFPP and should prompt consideration of skin biopsy. Recalcitrant lesions should also be considered for biopsy.
