Description

This provides intermediate data used in the analysis of 'Extensive Woody Encroachment Altering Angolan Miombo Woodlands Despite Cropland Expansion and Frequent Fires.' This dataset includes: (i) annual images of mean EVI across Angola (ii) an image of EVI trends across Angola over the 2000 to 2022 period (iii) a dataset of mean May EVI values across Angola for each year within different land use and burn frequency classes (iv) an image of the burn frequency classes used to relate fire to woody encroachment (v) images of the land use classification for the years 1990, 2000, 2014, and 2020 (vi) an vector outline of the study area Requests for further information as well as questions can be directed to Ty Loft (University of Oxford) at ty.loft@chch.ox.ac.uk
