Results data for: Flexibility aggregation and disaggregation of multi-energy virtual power plants with reserve activation and terminal state recovery
Description
This dataset contains the numerical results supporting the manuscript “Flexibility aggregation and disaggregation of multi-energy virtual power plants with reserve activation and terminal state recovery”. The study investigates the aggregation and disaggregation of flexibility in electricity–heat–hydrogen virtual power plants, considering baseline power, upward and downward reserves, reserve activation, and terminal state recovery. The main case study comprises five parks over a 24-hour scheduling horizon, with 15-minute response and recovery steps. The dataset provides 31 CSV files covering aggregate flexibility interfaces and park-level allocations, power–reserve projections, support-value comparisons, selected operating schedules, price-weighted outcomes, feasibility evaluations, representative recovery trajectories, risk-sensitivity analyses, and computational performance and scalability statistics. A file manifest, variable definitions, units, scope notes, and checksums are included to support interpretation and reuse. This release contains numerical results and supporting documentation only; source code and the complete computational environment are not included. The files support inspection, comparison, and replotting of the reported results. The electricity-price context originates from Bundesnetzagentur | SMARD.de via Energy-Charts.info. Historical weather-related disturbance inputs were derived from the Open-Meteo Previous Model Runs API. Attribution and processing details are provided in the accompanying documentation. Price-weighted outcomes should not be interpreted as market-clearing results or realized profits.
