The data set shows the raw data obtained from measurement of size of the individual barrel and the barrel enclosure of the posterior medial barrel subfield (PMBSF) of the somatosensory cortex of adult mice exposed to prenatal alcohol and its controls (sucrose or non-treatment). From this data set, the mean area of the individual PMBSF barrels, mean total PMBSF barrels, mean PMBSF enclosure and the mean PMBSF septal area were derived.
