Description

This dataset supports the study investigating the effects of pregnancy status on corneal temperature (CT) and rectal temperature (RT) in female cats. The dataset includes thermal imaging data (FLIR E90) for both eyes, rectal temperature readings, reproductive status classifications (pregnant or anoestrus), gestational days for pregnant subjects, and corresponding vaginal smear results for cycle confirmation. The data were collected from 30 clinically healthy domestic cats (15 pregnant, 15 anoestrus) under standardized conditions. This dataset may be used to further explore thermal markers in feline reproductive physiology and offers a foundation for non-invasive temperature monitoring studies. All data are anonymized and ethically collected.
