Open Reading Frames (ORFs) and annotations from the paired-end transcriptome outputs of deep-sea zoanthid Zibrowius primnoidus RNASeq data
Description
This dataset contains Open Reading Frames (ORFs) and associated annotations obtained from the paired-end transcriptome outputs of the deep-sea zoanthid Zibrowius primnoidus RNASeq data. The dataset includes the following files: From TransDecoder analyses: • Zibrowius_primnoidus_assembly.Trinity.fasta.transdecoder.cds: Nucleotide sequences for coding regions of the final candidate ORFs, obtained with TransDecoder from the paired-end transcriptome assembly of Zibrowius primnoidus. • Zibrowius_primnoidus_assembly.Trinity.fasta.transdecoder.gff3: Genomic-style coordinates of the final selected ORFs on the Trinity transcripts from the paired-end transcriptome of Zibrowius primnoidus. • Zibrowius_primnoidus_assembly.Trinity.fasta.transdecoder.pep: Peptide sequences for the final candidate ORFs, predicted by TransDecoder from the paired-end transcriptome of Zibrowius primnoidus. • Zibrowius_primnoidus_assembly.Trinity.fasta.transdecoder.bed: BED-formatted file describing ORF positions on the Trinity transcripts, suitable for visualisation in genome browsers such as IGV or GenomeView. From similarity and domain-based annotation: • Uniref90_metazoa.diamond.blastp.outfmt6.w_pct_hit_length: DIAMOND BLASTp results of predicted proteins against the UniRef90 metazoa database, including the top hit length and the percentage of the hit covered by the alignment for each ORF. • pfam.domtblout: Pfam domain annotations for the predicted proteins in the de novo transcriptome assembly of Zibrowius primnoidus. From Trinotate analyses: • Zibrowius_primnoidus_assembly.Trinity.annotation_report.tsv: Comprehensive annotation table generated by Trinotate, including BLAST, Pfam, signal peptide and transmembrane predictions, and other functional annotations for the paired-end de novo assembly of Zibrowius primnoidus. • Zibrowius_primnoidus_assembly.Trinity.annotation_report.html.cXp_summary.html: HTML summary report from Trinotate, providing an overview of the functional annotation and transcript features of the Zibrowius primnoidus assembly.

Steps to reproduce
ORFs and annotations were generated by TransDecoder v5.7.1 and Trinotate v4.0.2 using the paired-end de novo Trinity assembly of Zibrowius primnoidus. The underlying RNA-Seq data are available under BioProject PRJNA1223694.
