Description

This workbook documents the full analytical pipeline of the meta-analysis on resource slack and innovation performance. It contains the final coding base of 139 effect sizes from 90 primary studies (N = 345,742), with live formulas for the Fisher z transformation and its variance; the classification rules that operationalize the construct-validity criterion for dependent variables, together with the list of effect sizes excluded under that criterion and at the coding stage; the roster of the 90 included studies with verified titles, journals, and DOIs; the data behind Tables 1 and 2, including subgroup estimates, heterogeneity statistics, and the meta-analytic regression with ln GDP as a continuous moderator; a dedicated sheet with sensitivity analyses (one effect size per study, innovation-core subsample, exclusion of China, GDP per capita, multivariate specifications, and PET-PEESE); the PRISMA flow counts; the GDP mapping used for the moderator; and a checklist of the journal's formatting requirements. The workbook is intended to make every number reported in the manuscript traceable from the coded data to the published tables.
