Description

Dataset of internal temperature during lithium-ion battery ageing Co-Submission of same title Paper to Data in Brief Journal. This paper presents an experimental dataset on the ageing and performance characterisation of six LG Chem INR21700 M50 lithium-ion cells. The dataset includes three pristine cells and three instrumented cells with thermocouples embedded in the cell core. Ageing tests were conducted over 550 cycles. Performance characterisation was performed under a dynamic load profile based on a real vehicle operating in an urban environment for 45 minutes.
