Dataset for Global Web Accessibility Assessment of National Libraries’ Websites: A 2025 Snapshot

Description

This data is a result of web accessibility evaluation of National Libraries, using Popetech web accessibility platform. Popetech (https://www.pope.tech/), in turn, uses WAVE web accessibility evaluation tool (https://wave.webaim.org/). The dataset consist of five files derived from the article "Global Web Accessibility Assessment of National Libraries’ Web sites: A 2025 Snapshot", which is currently being submited to a scientific journal for publication.

Steps to reproduce

1. Select websites of national libraries from Wikipedia and Google search engine. 2. Create a group in Popetech for National Libraries and perform web accessibilily evaluation through WAVE. 3. Create reports from Popetech platform and receive them by email to your account. 4. Currate the date to have the same colums as in this dataset.
