CyberSafe_Cybersecurity Awareness and Digital Safety Behavior

Description

This dataset contains survey responses related to cybersecurity awareness and digital safety behavior. The raw dataset was collected through an online survey. Data cleaning and preprocessing were performed using Python and Pandas, including missing-value checking, duplicate detection and removal, data type correction, categorical data processing, and validation of the cleaned dataset.

Steps to reproduce

The dataset was collected using an online cybersecurity awareness and digital safety behavior survey. The raw survey responses were exported into CSV format. Data cleaning was performed using Python and Pandas. The dataset was inspected for missing values, duplicate records, inconsistent categorical values, invalid values, and incorrect data types. Completely empty responses and duplicate records were removed where applicable. Text values were standardized by removing unnecessary spaces. Missing values were handled using appropriate methods based on the variable type. Categorical variables were encoded where required, and ordinal survey responses were converted into numerical representations while preserving their order. Numerical variables were standardized when required for subsequent analysis. The final cleaned and preprocessed dataset was saved as a CSV file for analysis and reuse.
