Description

We collected data on partnerships between fashion firms and blockchain firms in which blockchain firms assist fashion firms in implementing blockchain in their production processes and supply chains. The data was collected and analysed using press releases and newspaper articles in Factiva, an online search, and a search on the websites of blockchain/IT firms. The final dataset includes 95 collaborations from 2015 until 2023. It includes information on the partnership announcement date, names of partners, quotes from press releases and articles describing three types of transaction costs, type of blockchain, and data sources.
