Description

Each sheet represents a different individual from the study. Column labels are as follows: t - time in seconds, h - average meniscus height in the tongue in millimeters, sd - standard deviation of the h data, hc - meniscus height from capillary only model, hci - meniscus height from capillary and inertial model, hcip - meniscus height from capillary, inertial, and pressure model.

Steps to reproduce

Film artificial (clear-sided) flowers filled with 20% sucrose solutions while wild-caught sunbirds feed from them with highspeed cameras and macro lenses aimed perpendicular to the top of the flower. Digitize the position of the nectar meniscus within the tongue relative to the nectar meniscus in the flower.
