Steps to reproduce

Damage caused by Cameraria ohridella recorded in July and September each year as % leaf area damaged following the method of Gilbert & Gregiore (2003), Journal of Applied Entomology 127, 354-359. https://doi.org/10.1046/j.1439-0418.2003.00757.x Stem radial increments of Aesculus hippocastanum calculated from girth (stem circumference) measured at 1.3 m above ground in September each year. % crown density is a visual estimate of canopy condition comparing the appearance of the tree with that of an idealised fully foliated tree. See Innes (1990), Anon (2001), Redfern & Boswell (2004). Branch dieback was measured on a scale of 0 = none, 1 = light, 2 = moxerate, 3 = severe (Innes, 1990).
