Processed data supporting “Contrasting aggregate storage and local inundation outputs under spatial rainfall homogenization”

Description

This dataset contains processed data supporting the manuscript “Contrasting aggregate storage and local inundation outputs under spatial rainfall homogenization”. It includes event-level storage metrics for 35 paired DISTRIBUTED–PRIMARY simulations, representative hourly urban-storage series, hourly storage series for the 10 local-analysis events, leave-one-gauge-out rainfall-reconstruction diagnostics, and processed local-output metrics used in the manuscript and Supplementary Material. The dataset contains derived analysis products only. The original hourly rainfall archive attributed to China Meteorological Administration stations is not redistributed because explicit redistribution permission is unavailable. Full SFINCS model outputs and third-party source datasets are not included. FABDEM, ESA WorldCover and SFINCS are available from their respective providers. These files support the principal quantitative comparisons, figures and supplementary analyses reported in the manuscript.

Steps to reproduce

Processed files supporting the main figures and quantitative results are provided in this dataset. Summary statistics can be reproduced directly from the CSV files using the definitions in the manuscript and Supplementary Material. Full SFINCS simulations cannot be reproduced from this archive alone because the original rainfall archive and complete model input/output files are not redistributed.
