Land Tenure Security Data set customary institutions from rural settlements of Oyo State, Nigeria

Description

The dataset is an SPSS (.sav) file containing household survey data collected to examine land tenure systems, land tenure security, and access to ecosystem services in communities within Oyo State, Nigeria. It includes respondents' socio-economic characteristics (such as age, gender, education, occupation, income, marital status, and household size), land ownership and acquisition information, tenure arrangements, land use practices, customary land institutions, land rights, land-related conflicts, and documentation of land ownership. The dataset also contains geographic identifiers, including state, senatorial district, local government area (LGA), and settlement, enabling comparative spatial analysis across different communities.
