Compilation and Standardization of Oil Toxicity Data on Early Life Stages of Fish to Support Population-Level Oil Spill Impact Modeling
Description
This is an appendix to an article with the same name. It contains two model codes, the data used in the models and a data set that was synthesized in the article. In addition it contains a template for calculating geometric mean and time-weighted average concentrations using the results of the two models. The functions.R script is needed in both models and contains essential functions. To run the models, you need to install JAGS (Just Another Gibbs Sampler). Instructions for the geom.mean and time-weighted average template: On the first sheet entitled "Predicted remaining rates" you need to copy the contents of the exported excel file from the weathering model. On the second sheet entitled "Predicted controls" you need to copy the contents of the exported excel file from the missing control model. Now the template calculates the missing control concentrations for the desired timepoints in the articles and calculates the geometric means and/or time weighted averaged depending on the exposure regimes of the articles. The article explains the assumptions we made regarding the calculations. The geometric mean/time-weighted average concentrations have been copied to the synthesized data files.
