Description

This dataset contains event thecnhical performance data from all 64 matches of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023, covering 32 national teams. The data were obtained from FIFA’s Enhanced Football Intelligence Metrics department. The dataset was compiled to benchmark offensive performance across group-stage and knockout-stage teams, enabling comparisons of match outcomes, correlations among metrics, and effect size analyses. It can be used by researchers, coaches, and analysts to study offensive playing styles, team identities, and tactical trends in elite women’s football.
