C. ternatea -a PRISMA based review dataset

Description

This dataset supports the systematic review entitled “Phytochemical Composition and Biological Activities of Aerial Parts of Clitoria ternatea L.: A Systematic Review.” The repository contains the literature screening records, eligibility assessment data, extracted study characteristics, phytochemical data, biological activity outcomes, and supporting materials used for the PRISMA-guided review. Data were collected from peer-reviewed articles identified through searches of PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar published between 2000 and 2025. The dataset is provided to ensure transparency, reproducibility, and verification of the review findings.

Steps to reproduce

A PRISMA-guided systematic review was conducted using PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar. Searches were performed for English-language studies published between 2000 and 2025 using terms related to Clitoria ternatea, aerial parts, phytochemistry, and biological activities. Studies were screened according to predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria, and eligible studies reporting phytochemical characterization or biological activities of aerial parts were included in the qualitative synthesis.
